Distiller or still is built entirely in stainless steel 304 and is equipped with all the components in order to make the extraction process of: essential oils, grappa, etc. It is composed of a heating boiler, lower and upper grille, “tube in tube” condenser, tank with cooling coil made of stainless steel.

The distiller is used for the extraction of essential oils from medicinal plants using the principle of the vapor stream. You can use the extractor (distiller) for all the fresh and dried plants whose oil can be extracted by steam.

Here are some of the various plants that can be distilled with the extractor: lavender, mint, rosemary, thyme, bay leaves, sage, oregano, chamomile, rose, eucalyptus, lemon balm, savory, wormwood, basil, verbena grass, cypress, pine, helichrysum, geranium, eucalyptus, juniper, mastic, marjoram, parsley, rue, turpentine, valerian, etc.

1 – Put the water in the boiler of the distiller until it touch the grid on the bottom.
2 – Place the plants in the distiller avoiding the creation of preferential channels for the leakage of steam.
3 – Place the top grid and close the lid.
4 – Fix the steel cooling circuit.
5 – Activate the heating of the distiller and, once the temperature is reached, open the water in the cooling circuit.
6 – After the time required to heat the product, the condensate collecting will start.
7 – Continue this procedure until the collection of a quantity of condensed equal to about 10% of the raw material loaded.
